Thistle Designs
The thistle is the Scottish National emblem and is known as the Flower of Scotland. Legends say that when the Scots were being invaded by Norsemen in the Middle Ages, one of the invaders stood on a thistle and cried out in pain, alerting the Scots. This plant then became known as the Guardian Thistle.
