Edinburgh Crags Diamond Wedding Ring in 9ct Yellow Gold, beautiful original earrings designed and made by our Head Jeweller and Designer, Jane North. The entire collection was designed in January 2026. 

Edinburgh Crags has been Jane's view from her home for 20 years, she has always been fascinated by the way the light changes the rock in different times of the day.

The Edinburgh Crags form part of Arthur's Seat, a 325 million year old extinct volcano situated in Holyrood Park.

Jane's design process included sketching the outline of the rock shapes. Over the years, her work has evolved with a deep focus on Scottish inspired themes. Most of her designs are inspired by Edinburgh, the city she was born and where she resides.

The collection has a sculptural style, highlighting the shape and texture of the rocks, it is an abstract interpretation of the Crags rather than an exact copy.

Her distinct process  building shapes and patterns and transforming them into sculptural, 3 dimensional objects has been a common theme across Tappit Hen Gallery's beautiful collections, inspired by Edinburgh and Scotland.

Our Edinburgh Crags Collection includes:  wedding rings, engagement rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces and cufflinks. They are available in silver, gold and platinum.
