Smoky Quartz Brooch with Celtic Surround in Silver
Sterling silver plaid brooch with open Celtic knotwork design and smoky quartz centrepiece.
The plaid brooch was traditionally worn on the shoulder, to attach the upper part of the kilt. The Celtic knotwork forms an endless pattern of interlace representing the interconnectedness of life, and representing eternity. The Celts believed strongly in an afterlife, and this is one of the reasons that they were so fierce in battle.
Approx. 4.5cm in diameter
