Scottish Thistle Edinburgh Celtic Ruby Engagement Ring with Pave Rhodolite Garnet
Our Customer was flying into Edinburgh for a couple of days. He planned a spontaneous proposal and was looking for a Scottish Thistle Ring with a ruby. He liked our Scottish Thistle Edinburgh Celtic Engagement Ring; however, he requested a ruby and garnets.
Fortunately, we had very good stock of rhodolite garnet, which looks very similar to a ruby, We also had a lovely quarter ruby.
We agreed to make the ring in 3 days, it was challenging to say the least. In order to fast track production, we worked overtime. We are happy to do this on occasion for Engagement Rings, if we can manage it. The only lead-time we can’t control is the Assay Office, however, they do offer a fast track service occasionally, so in this case, we were able to make the ring in 3 days. This was highly unusual, the normal lead-time for Engagement Rings is 6-8 weeks.
This design has only been created with Emerald and Diamonds over the years, it was lovely to see it with rubies and garnets. Thus far, it is a complete one off.
We dropped off our customers ring at his hotel late in the evening and he was absolutely delighted with his bespoke ring.
